Center for Culturally Responsive Educational Neuroscience (CCREN)
Led by Center Director Michael J. Orosco, Center for Culturally Responsive Educational Neuroscience aims to develop the emerging Mind Brain Education (MBE) discipline, using our combined strength in neuroscience, education, and educational psychology research. The center builds on research that allows placing important educational issues within a culturally responsive scientific framework that compliments the social science foundation of educational research and the impact on diverse human learning and behavior. In addition, this center seeks to establish a dialogue between researchers and practitioners to translate research into practice further to improve education and well-being across the lifespan.
